Getting Started

The platform ships with four demo accounts so you can experience BaselinX from every role immediately.

   Open the landing page

   Navigate to the BaselinX URL and click Sign In in the top-right.

   Pick a role

   Click Click to auto-fill (Admin) on the login card or type the credentials above.

   Accept the legal notice

   The one-time terms modal appears. Click I Accept.

   Choose an environment

   From the top-nav PDM ▾ menu pick TDS, SPC, DEF, or AVN. Each is a fully-populated digital-thread demo.

Your home base is the Change Control workspace and the Baselines tab. You will spend most of your day in impact analysis, ECO disposition, and release-package authoring.

A typical first workflow

   Open the current baseline

   Go to PLM Thread → eBOM on any product. The impact strip at the top shows the active baseline id (e.g. BL-TDS-0006).

   Open an ECO

   From the Cross-View Impact strip click Create ECO. All affected drawings, requirements, tests, baselines and fielded units are pre-populated.

   Narrate the impact

   Click Generate Executive Summary inside the ECO modal — Claude Sonnet drafts the cost, risk and timeline.

   Route for CCB

   Open the ECO lifecycle modal from Change Control to move it Draft → In Review → Approved → Released.

• Open PLM Thread → Requirements on any product to see every shall-statement with its linked function, system, CI, verification test, and current status.
• Change a requirement and the Impact Strip immediately re-counts affected drawings, tests, baselines, and fielded units.
• Use Trace Matrix (Engineering Platform → Systems) for the formal upward/downward trace.

• Enter the PDM Design Vault (PDM ▾ → TDS or any env) to see all parts and 2D drawings as procedural title-blocked SVGs.
• Click Check Out on a part to acquire the design lock, then Check In to publish the next working version.
• A working version becomes a Revision only after it is attached to a released ECO.

• mBOM adds phantoms, kits, consumables and sequence on top of the eBOM — flagged rows highlight the delta.
• Process lists operations with the mBOM parts consumed and inspection points attached.
• Routing shows work-centre flow. Press Run to launch the Live Production Simulation of a serial moving through operations.

• Open Engineering Platform → Quality to see all NCRs with severity, status and MRB disposition.
• Create NCR attaches to the exact serial, part, lot or supplier where the defect occurred — the Genealogy and As-Built views pick it up automatically.
• MRB disposition options: Use-As-Is, Rework, Repair, Return to Supplier, Scrap, Requires Engineering Change (opens an ECR).

• The Requirements view lists each test with pass/fail status against its parent REQ.
• The Digital Twin view binds live telemetry to the as-maintained configuration — anomalies trace back in two clicks to the originating requirement.

• The Home / Launch dashboard surfaces open ECOs, NCR trend, supplier risk, and configuration status.
• Each environment has its own operations dashboard (Space Operations, DoD CM, Aviation CM).
• Analytics gives executive KPIs with drill-downs to parts, drawings and serials.

• Admin → Users manages accounts and role assignments.
• TDS, Software, Space, DoD, Aviation, PDM and Platform seed collections are auto-created on first boot and locked after use.
• An audit trail is persisted for every ECO, NCR, MRB disposition and baseline change.
